Bees are winged, flying insects closely related to ants and wasps. They are vital to the pollination of many plants and also produce honey and beeswax. There are currently nearly 20,000 known species of bees in about 7 to 9 different recognized families around the world and their actual numbers are estimated to be much higher.
If you see multiple bees flying in the home or find dead bees around the inside your home near appliances, windows or entryways, it could be a sign that you have a nest. If you find a large number of dead bees outside the house, near windows and doors it could be a sign that a hive has plans to move in.
To rid these pests from your home in a safe and natural way apply Scram Crawling Insect killer to the bees nest. It is generally advisable to treat bee nests in the evening when insects are less active and have returned to the nest. Wear protective clothing, if deemed necessary, to avoid stings. Using hand or powder duster or other suitable means (with extension tubes if necessary), thoroughly dust nest, nest entrance and surrounding areas where insects alight. Nests in voids should be located and treated. If necessary, drill a hole into the void(s), blow dust in, and reseal. For best results, carefully check nests 1 - 2 days after treatment to ensure complete kill. When treating overhead nests, apply in such a manner as to avoid drift onto the applicator.
